Plan a street tramway with TramIT! parts. This is a working demo of the layout planner: choose your scale and gauge, snap straights, curves, turnouts, crossovers, passing places and crossings together on a baseboard, and the planner checks the layout and lists the parts it uses.
- Adding track: click an open end of the track, then click a part in the list to join it on there. Other way joins it from its other end.
- Moving track: drag a piece to move it and everything joined to it; it snaps to nearby ends. Undo, rotate and delete are on the toolbar.
- Checks: open ends, crossing rails and anything hanging off the baseboard are marked on the plan.
- The road: the planner draws the street around your track, and you can add road areas of your own. It produces numbered, sheet-packed cutting files for the road infill, plain or scored as granite setts or wooden blocks.
- Keeping your work: your layout is remembered in this browser, and Save layout file keeps a copy you can open again later.
Ordering isn’t open yet: the parts are still being fit-tested, so the order form in the planner is switched off for now. The planner works best on a computer or tablet.
