There’s a new tool on the site: BaseIT!, a designer for laser-cut baseboard kits. It’s free to use in your browser, and it’s marked beta while I keep refining it.
Choose a rectangular board, a corner board or a board with a turntable well, and BaseIT! draws every panel for you, with finger joints, strengthening ribs and holes for bolts and wiring. Arrange your boards in a plan of your room, then nest the parts onto your sheet material and export DXF, SVG or LightBurn files for the laser cutter. Two 1200 × 600 mm boards fit on a single 8 × 4 ft sheet.
