The site has had a thorough overhaul. Every tool now has a rewritten page with fresh screenshots, several have something you can try in your browser, and there are some new pages too. Here’s a quick tour.
Railway tools
- TrackIT!: prototypical British turnouts, crossovers, diamonds and junctions, with timbering, baseplates and 3D-printable parts.
- PlanIT!: layout planning with the real geometry of TrackIT! pointwork, with its draft manual now on a page of its own.
- TramIT!: grooved tram track in any scale, with a free layout planner to try.
- ElevateIT!: modelling New York’s lost elevated railways.
- Wireless Servo Controller: the touchscreen controller that worked the points and signals on Navigation Sidings.
Modelling tools
- BrickIT!: laser-ready brick facades, with a new online demo.
- FrameForge (beta): model boat frames and hulls from a lines plan, free to use in your browser, with the Tally Ho project to download.
- Round the Pole Designer: free for cadets and clubs, and now illustrated with my own Spitfire.
New around the site
- Videos: every video from the YouTube channel in one searchable catalogue.
- About: a little about me, and a sheep.
- Contact: a proper contact form, so you can get in touch without leaving the site.
Each tool also has its own news category now, so future updates will be easy to find. Take a look around, and let me know what you think.
